Certifications

At North Star, we strive to stay abreast of the most innovative and cutting edge building techniques, renewable energy systems and green practices. Our staff has become certified by the industry’s leading authorities through participation in seminars, courses and interactive project visits. We have also attended and successfully passed numerous green building, PV and solar thermal college courses and have participated directly with the Center for Sustainable Energy. We are certified with the Building Performance Institute, US Green Building Council, North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and the New Jersey Clean Energy Program.
