Today direct electrical energy can be easily obtained from the sun through the use of solar photovoltaic modules. Photovoltaics take the light from the sun, that would otherwise be lost as heat radiating from the surface of the planet, and converts it into useable electricity for your building. Modules can be placed in almost any area of your property that recieves an ample amount of sunlight throughout the course of the day. Though often a great place for installation, roofs are not the only place where photovoltaics can be installed. Numerous manufacturers build rack mounting systems that can be placed on garages, sheds, and at ground level.
